Hiatus

I had taken a hiatus of sorts from writing. I think in many ways I had to figure out what I was doing with this blog, and I truthfully began to feel that I had paid too much importance on political events than I should have, which in many respects caused me a great deal of inner despair.

I have spent the last few months in more interior and spiritual pursuits, which I felt have settled me quite a bit and perhaps I can now return to writing, but writing in the fashion which I had begun...in a more informative and prayerful fashion to help and inform faithful Catholics or those searching.

A Self-Righteous Pharisee Complaining

Life is quite amusing. It becomes all the more hilarious when people use terms and words which they don't truly comprehend. For example, pharisee. Yes, that is right, pharisee. I had the privilege of someone, in not so many words, say that I sound like a pharisee; however, this person does not know me and the discussion, which was transpiring on a mutual friend's Facebook page, was about Eucharistic reception on the tongue and hand. My friend, who shall remain nameless, shared an experience that occurred and his feelings about Eucharistic reception, and of course, a discussion ensued. The reason the discussion progressed to a degree was due to the fact that we cannot receive the Eucharist on our tongue. I will be returning soon

After a very long hiatus, I have decided I will start writing again. The stress of where I thought the Church was going and what I hoped was erroneous thinking on my part stopped me. I, honestly, was also a bit fearful to tread that ground, but I think it is time for me to write as I would like after many years. I will start sharing my thoughts again and not worry so much as I did in the past. God bless.
