Pro-Life is not Anti-choice

Image
January 22nd commemorates a dark day in history, the legalization of abortion in the United States. Since that day the termination of life of the most innocent in society has been an acceptable practice. Today, many people will be blogging to celebrate that ‘choice’ hidden under the guise of reproductive freedom answering National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League’s (NARAL) call to blog for choice . I, however, am writing to the contrary, as I believe that many things that are hidden under the guise of ‘reproductive freedom’ are really things that exploit women and attack those who are most innocent in society, babies. There are many women and men who look to abortion as an escape from the natural consequence of the reproductive act, conception. It can be understood that many people are not ready to have children and are fearful of the hardships that they believe will occur because of the child coming into the world, but in the process of seeking their escape, they te

Full text at : Announcing the “Ask Them What They Mean By ‘Choice’ Blog Day,” January 21! Excerpt From: Jill Stanek's Blog            How dare they celebrate the upcoming 38th anniversary of the infamous Roe v. Wade decision with their ambiguous claptrap. Over 50 million babies have been killed in America since that terrible day, most certainly nothing to cheer about, unless you’re in Rome at the Colosseum perhaps. So pro-life bloggers are banding together to sponsor a counter “Ask Them What They Mean When They Say ‘Choice’ Blog Day” on the same day, January 21. ---- If you would like to partake as a blogger for the event go to the above mentioned link and contact Jill Stanek, but even if you are not blogger, you can still participate on the day by engaging those who promoting the culture of death. NaPro Technology and Creighton Method - A Journey

On occasion I write about NaPro technology and the Creighton Model, and despite the fact I may not be a doctor or an expert in the area, my wife and I do use Creighton Method and NaPro technology in our quest to conceive a child, as its methods respect the dignity of the human person and promote overall health. Now, I must say that dealing with fertility issues is not easy and it requires patience and understanding, not only by the couple but also by the doctor. My wife and I have seen a number of doctors, and have found our experience to be mixed, yet we have nothing to but positive things to say about NaPro practitioners. We started our NaPro/Creighton Method journey in Singapore under the care of Dr. John Hui, who has been delightful and very insightful in helping us deal with our issues, especially in addressing underlying health issues and how they effect fertility and has always walked us through our journey in a very systematic way, never pushing anything upon us, but letting

The Presence is Real (Video from American Life League)

Image
I happened to wake this morning and find this video attached to an email from the American Life League (ALL). I was taken back by its imagery and its powerful message and felt that it would an important thing to share. Please remember to pray for our lost brethren who erroneously believe abortion is compatible with Christian morals and doctrine, despising His precepts and following the way of the world, and also for those who insult our Lord in the most Holy Eucharist by denying His real presence and/or receiving Him in a state of mortal sin. Cor Iesu Sacratissimum, miserere nobis. Act of Reparation to the Sacred Heart From American Life League: From the moment of consecration, Christ is truly present in the Holy Eucharist. We do not see Him as we see other people, but He is there, body, blood, soul and divinity. Even though we cannot see Him, He is always with us in the Blessed Sacrament. From the moment of creation, a person is truly present. We can't see him or

Silence

I find silence to be an amazing thing. So often in the world today, we are faced with the cacophonous sound of television, internet videos, music, frivolous arguing and countless other things which I can’t even ponder at the moment; then, there are those moments where everything just stops. Still, even when there is physical silence, our minds can create their own noise and at times repeat the rubbish of the day over and over again; therefore, I think it is truly beautiful when one can truly engage in silence, the quieting of the mind. It can be quite astounding when one is finally able to make the mind stop its banter and focus on one thing. Of course, me being who I am, I write about prayer. It has been written that when one prays that they should focus upon every word spoken or thought, and I believe it is only when all distraction is truly cast away that we can truly give ourselves to prayer, but to acquire that silence is a daunting task because it forces one to reject all the d
