The Anti-Modernist

As we journey through Lent, it is easy to become distracted, disheartened or simply overwhelmed, but we must never lose sight that God is with us and longs for us, longs for us to be with Him for eternity. Knowing that we a have a God who is so loving, we should have great faith and trust in Him and not despair when things become difficult. Yet, knowing that we have such a wonderful God should lead us to honor and love Him in all we do, especially when approaching Him in the most Holy Eucharist. Having the proper disposition to approach the Eucharist can sometimes be difficult in a society that encourages us to indulge in our own wants and desires; therefore, we must remember who we belong to – We are God’s. We belong to Him. He has known us from eternity and we are all special to him. That being said, we should ask frequently ask ourselves if we honor God and question the ways by which we show him our love. It is very easy to rationalize our choices and make excuses for sinful

Please pray for our brethren in the Philippines. They are in a great struggle against the culture of death and their lies which seek to dismantle the family and deceive people into thinking that the child living in the womb is not a human at all. Please pray that policies that promote the value of human beings in all stages of development and which elevate the family to its true divine and social purpose stand true and do not crumble under the scourge of modernism, relativism and indifference.

It is amazing how people will cringe at the idea of bunnies being killed, but will turn a blind eye to the murder of children in womb. Help defund Planned Parenthood.
