The Life Workshop

Protecting the innocent in society, especially the most vulnerable is a duty that all Christians have. However, there are many adversities and questions that can arise when defending life which can dissuade one from taking a stand. It is partly for this reason The Society of St. Gianna has put together "The Life Workshop".

From the Society of St. Gianna blog:

‘The greatest destroyer of peace is abortion…  Because if a mother can kill her own child – what is left for me to kill you and you kill me – there is nothing between.’ — Bl. Teresa of Calcutta
The Society of St Gianna presents to you… The Life Workshop!
Date/Time: 9 Aug (Tue, National Day), 10:30am to 5:30pm
Venue: FMM House, 49 Holland Road
Recommended Age: 17-30
Registration Fee: $10 (inclusive of lunch)
What is it all about?
The Life Workshop is a one-day seminar that aims to provide a Catholic perspective on abortion and the life of the unborn, especially to our Catholic youth. Through talks, video screenings and group activities, the seminar aims to facilitate prayer, discussion and dialogue on these complicated but relevant moral issues, which we all face.
Why do we care?
We wish to care as most people in Singapore are not well-informed about the subject matter, or are reluctant to discuss it. Catholics thus have a duty in spreading the Church’s message of love and life in the midst of an increasingly secularised world.
All life, born or unborn, has a God-given dignity. Since we are all created in the image of God, we must do our best to defend all life. Unborn children are among the most helpless and vulnerable members of our society, but their life is equally precious. The pro-life and pro-family message that the Catholic Church advocates is one that will keep society intact for generations to come.

If you are in Singapore and wish to become better informed about Pro-Life issues or wish to have a platform which doesn't condemn but allows one to speak and learn, please register for the event.
It is sure to be a life changing experience.
